At least we will be on equal terms. In my opinion, the circuit seems quite modern and has different challenges to the other tracks we have been to this year particularly the last race at Suzuka. To drive a race in China will be a great experience and I am impatient to get there. Besides, with India being not too far, a lot of Indians fans are expected to come and support me. I will do my best to have a good result in the final Grand Prix of the season"
Jordan Happy with Double Finish
The Jordan team were pleased after both their drivers made it to the end of the Japanese Grand Prix, albeit outside of the points
Narain Karthikeyan: "Japan is one of the greatest circuits on the calendar and one of my favourites. It is a bit like Spa and drivers seem to like it a lot. I have raced at Suzuka driving in Formula Nippon in 2001 and I did quite well, so it should be ok. We will have to pay attention to the weather as it can be very changeable there; as for instance last year they had a typhoon. Also, the EJ15B has certainly closed the gap with the other teams so I am looking forward to Suzuka even more. As it is Bridgestone's home race, hopefully they will give us something special."

Jordan duo Narain Karthikeyan and Tiago Monteiro believe that they still have plenty of room for improvement after a fairly disappointing opening day for the Brazilian Grand Prix

It is a very undulating circuit and, as it is anticlockwise, like Imola and Turkey, it consists of mainly left-hand corners, apart from one of the hairpins. I drove there in 2002 when I was racing in the Formula Nissan World Series. We did very well and I hold the fastest lap record for the Nissan cars."

There is more downforce in Spa than at Monza, so our car should be more competitive there and hopefully we will be able to close the gap with the teams in front."
