Bright wins race 2
Jason Bright made up for his disappointment in race one with victory in the reverse-grid race two of the SkyCity V8 Supercar Triple Crown at Hidden Valley Raceway
Bright took the lead just after half-distance from Warren Luff, to take the win he looked set to take yesterday before suffering a flat tyre.
Steven Johnson took second after running up front all race, looking set for third until Luff made a mistake and lost two places with three laps remaining, Johnson having to hold off Lowndes in the closing laps.
Greg Murphy and Garth Tander looked set for fifth and sixth place before they tangled on the second last lap when Murphy locked his brakes as Tander tried to pass him around the outside. Instead, Tander finished eighth and Murphy ninth.
After Bright had a bad weekend turn upwards, Mark Skaife had his weekend turn the other direction. After winning race one, he spent most of the second race dealing with brake problems, finishing 28th, last of the cars still running.
