Moreau Takes Maiden Win

The Signature rookie took full advantage when the title contenders ran into one another. Sutil was left with nowhere to go as Hamilton appeared to edge him out. The pair locked wheels sending both into retirement.

Three cars had already been eliminated after Kohei Hirate (Team Rosberg) tangled with Signature's James Rossiter at the start. Hirate then speared into Carbone's unique SLC machine, taking out the unfortunate Brazilian on the spot.

The safety car came out as the track was cleared and at the re-start McLaren Autosport Award Winner Paul di Resta got a run on Sebastien Vettel (Mucke) for second. It appeared to be a great move and the Manor Motorsport driver soon set about hunting down Moreau for the lead.

Unfortunately, the Scot was adjudged to have passed Vettel before the start/finish line and was handed a drive-through penalty. This left Moreau in a comfortable lead he held to the end.

Toyota protege Franck Perera picked up third for Prema, while teammate Greg Franchi took his best ever Euroseries result in fourth.
