Weekend review and results round-up

What was expected to be a quiet - probably even dull - Hungarian Grand Prix weekend turned out to be extremely eventful, as Mark Webber pulled off a brilliant strategy gamble to win, Lewis Hamilton's retirement closed the title battle up even more, Sebastian Vettel's restart error and penalty left him puzzled, and Michael Schumacher caused a furore by squeezing Rubens Barrichello almost into the wall

Even before then, the scale of Red Bull's domination was a major talking point in itself, and as flexing wings drew ever more attention, AUTOSPORT revealed plans to make tests more stringent from Spa.

Felipe Massa was the other big story of the weekend, as he both made his return to the scene of his 2009 crash, and attempted to move on from the Hockenheim team orders row.

Rally Finland was the weekend's other main event, and saw a home winner as Jari-Matti Latvala held off Sebastiens Ogier and Loeb to take a brilliant win. Latvala's team-mate Mikko Hirvonen crashed heavily while leading - and was not the only man to suffer a massive accident this weekend. Jules Bianchi and Ho-Pin Tung picked up back injuries - Bianchi's more severe than Tung's - in a GP2 start crash, the Pocono NASCAR race saw a big impact for Elliott Sadler, and Chris van der Drift sustained multiple injuries in a horrific aerial accident in the Superleague Formula event at Brands Hatch.
