Italian Giancarlo Fisichella was disappointed once more after a poor start to his British Grand Prix weekend.
"It's disappointing not to be moving up any higher than this. Our lack of pace is frustrating," said the Italian after finishing in 16th position in today's first qualifying session.
Fisichella, who has made no secret of his disappointment with the pace of the Jordan in the past, visited the Sauber team's headquarters on Wednesday as he considers his options for the future.
The Italian is out of contract with Jordan at the end of the year and has become frustrated at the lack of competitiveness with his only points this season coming from his surprise win in the Brazilian Grand Prix.
Jordan's poor day was completed by Briton Ralph Firman finishing down in 17th place.
"I'm a bit frustrated with my lap time," said Firman. "I was quicker in the morning with more fuel so obviously I was hoping to have had a better lap. I had lots of oversteer. We'll try and address it tomorrow and do the best we can."
