Barrichello struggles with car set-up
Stewart driver Rubens Barrichello says he still needs to find a better set-up for his car in time for tomorrow's qualifying in Belgium
The Brazilian finished 11th in the first free practice session this morning with a 1.56.232.
The time he set this morning, dropped him down to 13th, by the end of the second session from the Spa-Francorchamps circuit.
'The car feels very strange at the moment,' he said. 'I was battling with instability at the rear and a lot of the set-up changes I made didn't wrok out.
'The car is good in the high speed corners, but I'm losing time in the low speed corners through lack of traction.
'I'll be spending a lot of time with my engineer to find a better balance for tomorrow.'
Barrichello's team-mate Johnny Herbert - who looks likely to remain with the marque in 2000, was happier, finishing 7th overall with a 1.54.975.
'I'm happy with the balance of the car and managed to put in a good time towards the end of the second session.
'We are still missing a bit of mechanical grip but I'm sure we can find that in time for qualifying.
'I really like Spa and I'm confident that I can qualify in the top six.'
