Maserati Claims first All-Front Row

The Maserati Vitaphone team claimed their first all-front row of the FIA GT season at Oschersleben, after the second qualifying session left results from the earlier session unchanged

The #9 Maserati of Michael Bartels and Timo Scheider will be on pole position, while teammates Fabio Babini and Thomas Biagi, in the #10 Maserati, will start tomorrow's three-hour race in second.

The Corvette of Mike Hezemans, Anthony Kumpen and Bert Longin was third fastest.

GruppeM Porsche continued to dominate the GT2 class, claiming their sixth 1-2 qualifying result in seven rounds. Emanuel Collard and Tim Sugden were fastest, while Marc Lieb and Mike Rockenfeller followed.

The sole G2 class entry, the Balfe Mosler of Shaun Balfe and Jamie Derbyshire, was 17th fastest overall.
