Zaugg completes qualifying double

Adrian Zaugg has put Team South Africa on pole position for both A1GP races at Zandvoort by dominating qualifying for the feature race

With Q4 a little drier than Q3, Zaugg destroyed the opposition in the South Africa car, and was the only driver to get under the 1 minute 44-second barrier. Christian Vietoris produced a great late effort to bag second, albeit 0.7seconds down on Zaugg.

Team GB found a load of pace, and Oliver Jarvis did a great job to take third, just ahead of Neel Jani and Team Switzerland.

After showing so well early on, Team France struggled in the drier conditions, and Loic Duval starts back in fifth for the feature, while Ralph Firman lines up next to him in sixth.

Young Czech driver Erik Janis was the surprise of the session, taking full advantage of the best of the conditions to take an excellent seventh. Mexico, India and pre-season favourites New Zealand round out the top 10.

Team Portugal will line up last after Joao Urbano went off in Q3, while A1 race winner Alex Yoong was the major disappointment of qualifying and will start way back in 20th.
