Hunter-Raey Signs with Rocketsports

Both team and driver will be entering their third year in the competition, and they are looking forward to the challenge. "It's a great opportunity for me and another step forward in my Champ Car career,"said Hunter-Reay. "The potential to win races is there, as proven by Alex's [Tagliani] victory last year.

"Paul [Gentilozzi] has put together an excellent program and I know that I will fit into that program very well and our driver/team learning curve will be short”.

In reply, Gentilozzi noted: "Ryan is a great talent behind the wheel. There is a reason Ryan was honoured with the Greg Moore Legacy Award last year. He is a well-rounded driver and will bring a lot of knowledge and talent to Rocketsports.  Signing Ryan is part of the continuing process to put the right people in place to build on the success we have had.
