Toyota Duo Upbeat after TF104's Rollout

Toyota's French driver Olivier Panis is encouraged after having tested the new TF104 car which was unveiled today in Cologne, Germany.

Toyota's French driver Olivier Panis is encouraged after having tested the new TF104 car which was unveiled today in Cologne, Germany.

Panis took to the Paul Ricard circuit last week to carry out the car's rollout before the official launch.

"It is a very positive rollout for us," said Panis. "We did already a lot of laps and I have a very good feeling about the new car for this year."

The Frenchman's teammate Cristiano da Matta was also at the wheel of the TF104, and he too was positive about the car's performance.

"I have also driven the new car for two days already," added da Matta. "Everything seems to be going really well so far. It's a bit too early for us to get optimistic and make predictions for the season, but I think the start we had was as good as it could be."

Toyota will travel to Barcelona to start their first serious test with the TF104 next week.
