Rosberg happy at Williams

German driver Nico Rosberg says he is happy at the Williams team despite admitting he is flattered by rumours linking him to McLaren

"It is great for me, for sure, I could not have expected better," Rosberg said of the McLaren rumours.

"To be spoken about in the media like that is fantastic, especially for a young driver like me. I don't think anything better could happen," he told reporters ahead of the Australian Grand Prix.

Rosberg, the son of former world champion Keke, has made an impressive Formula One debut, scoring points and setting the fastest lap in his first Grand Prix in Bahrain. The Williams driver also qualified in third place in Malaysia.

Recent speculation has linked Rosberg with the second McLaren seat in 2007. The other spot will be taken by world champion Fernando Alonso, who will leave Renault after this year.

Rosberg, however, admits he is happy to be at Williams.

"I have a few years' contract here and I am happy where I am. They have given me great support, they have helped me into F1 and it is going well," he said.
