The boss of the Silverstone-based Jordan team also admitted that he would be willing to sell a stake of his outfit to Chinese investors as he looks to secure an improved budget for 2004.
"Maybe interests in Macau, Hong Kong or elsewhere can buy an exciting team. Im currently looking at something like that," Jordan told Autosport magazine. "I am also interested in trying to groom a Chinese driver into F1.
"We have a great history of bringing on young drivers - just look where Michael Schumacher began his F1 career. I will do my best to help nurture the first Chinese Formula One driver and I would like to see Chinese faces in my team in the future."
Jordan cars carried sponsorship from China's television company CCTV last season and bosses of the Shanghai Circuit, which will stage the country's first Grand Prix next September, have set up an academy to discover talented drivers.
