No number ones at Ferrari -- yet

The double champion was speaking on the eve of the first practice for Sunday's Australian Grand Prix.

The Ferrari racer had earlier declared he will race on for at least another four years - two years beyond his current Ferrari contract.

He insisted that there were no contractual obligations on his Brazilian teammate to finish second to him if he is faster. "My [team] situation with Rubens is no different to the way it was with Eddie [Irvine] in years gone by," he replied to questions that the Brazilian would get second class treatment.

"You cannot make a driver slower through the contract. If you are faster, you are faster and the faster driver will be the number one."

"Rubens is quite fast. When I say McLaren and Ferrari will be challenging for the championship I mean all four drivers."

The Ferrari ace said he was back to full fitness and the lingering troubles with the leg broken at Silverstone had now gone. The leg is almost perfect. I would have trouble for an hour and half of football but nothing below that would give me a problem," he added.
