Stewart aims to wrap up fourth spot
Stewart is determined to bow out on a high at the Japanese Grand Prix before they are transformed into Jaguar Racing for the new millennium
The British team heads to Suzuka battling to hold the fourth place it took from former champions Williams at the last round in Malaysia.
Rubens Barrichello says another dose of points on Sunday to tie up the place behind Jordan would be the ideal leaving present before he joins Michael Schumacher at Ferrari next year.
'It is going to be very emotional when I step into the car for the last time on Sunday,' said the Brazilian.
'I am really keen to get a good result for the team. My goal was to leave having helped Stewart-Ford to fourth and I'll be doing my up most to make that secure here.
'It will be my way of repaying everyone in the team for their terrific support during my time with them.'
Stewart lead Williams by just three points knowing Williams' one-man points scoring machine Ralf Schumacher has scored three or more in eight of the 15 rounds so far.
'Having moved ahead of Williams we want to consolidate out position,' said chief operating officer Paul Stewart.
'The most satisfying way of doing that would be to add to our points tally in Suzuka.
'It's Rubens last race for the team and we hope we can make it a good one for him.'
