Barrichello disqualified from Australian GP
Rubens Barrichello has been disqualified from the Australian Grand Prix after jumping the red light at the end of the pitlane near the end of the race
The Honda Racing driver finished the race in sixth position but was under investigation after television images showed the Brazilian had left the pitlane when the red light was still on during a safety car period.
Barrichello had already been hit with a 10-second stop-and-go for refuelling when it was not allowed.
Honda team boss Nick Fry confirmed after the race that Barrichello has been disqualified.
That moved Williams's Kazuki Nakajima up to sixth position, with Toro Rosso's Sebastien Bourdais in seventh and world champion Kimi Raikkonen scoring the final point despite not finishing the race.
