Ferrari boss Todt aims for the full set
Team boss Jean Todt said Ferrari would not be satisfied until it had wrapped up both world titles
The Frenchman, who has been at the helm as Ferrari finally realised its 21-year-dream to win the drivers' world championship, said the season was not yet over even though Ferrari's long quest was.
"There are no words to describe this. Now we can enjoy it all," said Todt after Schumacher had soaked him in champagne on the podium.
With victory in Japan, Schumacher became the first man since Jody Scheckter in 1979 to win the world title in a Ferrari. But Todt said there would only be a brief respite as Ferrari takes its 13-point lead in the constructors' championship to Malaysia intent on recording a clean sweep by taking that title as well.
"We need three points for the constructors' title and we won't let go," he said. "But let's not worry about the future right now. Let's enjoy the present for at least five minutes."
With that, he headed off for Suzuka's famous Log Cabin to celebrate with Schumacher.
