BMW pairs Tom Blomqvist with Augusto Farfus in 2015 DTM line-up
DTM rookie Tom Blomqvist will be paired with Augusto Farfus at Team RBM for the 2015 season
The Briton recently inked a DTM deal with BMW for the 2015 season, and it has now been announced that he will drive alongside four-time race winner Farfus with the Belgium-based squad.
In other BMW driver news, Antonio Felix da Costa has been moved over to the famous Schnitzer team for his sophomore season in the DTM.
The Portuguese driver, who finished 21st last year for Team MTEK, will partner Martin Tomczyk in his 15th season as a DTM driver.
Bruno Spengler, meanwhile, will make the opposite move, switching from Schnitzer to MTEK for the new season to partner ex-Formula 1 racer Timo Glock.
The only BMW team that remains unchanged from 2014 is Team RMG, which will continue to run champion Marco Wittmann and rookie of the year Maxime Martin.
BMW's motorsport Jens Marquardt said: "We go into the new season with a very strong driver/team line-up. This is the best line-up we could wish for. In total, our eight drivers have racked up 334 races and 31 victories in the DTM.
"We have a good mix of young and experienced drivers, who are all capable of making their mark on the series.
"At the end of every season we analyse whether and how we can make any minor changes to tease a little more out of the overall set-up.
"We are confident that we have found the ideal line-up for the 2015 season, in which we will face a number of new challenges with the new format of the race weekends.""
