Andy Priaulx and Augusto Farfus 'can win regularly' according to team boss

The duo are both competing for Mampaey's RBM outfit in their rookie DTM campaigns this year and have had mixed seasons so far.

British driver Priaulx, who previously won three World Touring Car titles in RBM-run BMWs, has managed two points-scoring finishes in the opening six races of the year, but has also endured frustrations.

His Lausitz, Brands Hatch and Nurburgring races were either ended or hindered by early-race damage sustained in contact with other cars.

Farfus, meanwhile, took a podium finish on only his second start at Lausitz, but has only once finished higher than he has qualified.

Despite this, Mampaey remains convinced of their qualities; the pair being the two highest-placed rookies in the championship in 10th and 12th overall.

"Both drivers have done very well, especially when you bear in mind also as a team we have no DTM experience," said Mampaey.

"The DTM is a very specific series with very specific cars. The amount of testing, even before the start of this season, was very limited.

"I am very happy we are in DTM with these two drivers. As a team we are working well and are determined that it will not be long before we are challenging for wins."
