Turner wins again at Knockhill
Darren Turner has claimed his second victory of the day at Knockhill, with Colin Turkington once again finishing behind him in second place
The pair enjoyed a close battle over the final few laps, but Turner defended excellently in his Leon to bring home the points for SEAT.
Turkington's BMW had the pace and he believed victory was possible, but ran out of time to mount a successful challenge.
"I was tempted to have more of a go at the end," admitted Turkington. "With the BMW, in these conditions, we just needed some time for the tyres to come in.
"But I was really happy with my pace at the end. I caught him back up and thought there was a good chance for a win."
Fabrizio Giovanardi put in a stunning drive to claim the final podium slot, defending furiously from Gordon Shedden in the closing stages of the race. Jason Plato came home in fifth place, with Matt Neal right on his rear bumper.
Mike Jordan, who finished in eighth position, was randomly chosen to start the final race of the day from pole position.
