Loeb concerned by Ford line-up
Sebastien Loeb believes that Ford's driver line-up of Mikko Hirvonen and Jari-Matti Latvala will make life difficult for him this year
The 2008 season gets underway with the Monte Carlo Rally at the end of the month, and Loeb is not expecting to cruise to a fifth consecutive title following the retirement of Marcus Gronholm.
"It's definitely not going to be easy like people are saying," said the Citroen driver. "It's not just Mikko either.
"Mikko is quick, there's not doubt about that. Norway last year, nobody was close with him.
"I think Latvala also has a lot of potential. Already last year he was leading rallies and then he did a lot of (fastest) times in Wales."
Loeb also expects his teammate Dani Sordo to improve this year, and he is also wary of the series switching to Pirelli as a single tyre supplier.
"A lot depends on how quickly a driver can adapt to the new tyre, that's what's going to be important," he added.
"It's completely different and completely new, but okay, how can I be too worried about it when it is going to be the same for all drivers?"
