Kerr to make Le Mans debut
Robbie Kerr will make his debut in the Le Mans 24 Hours this year driving an LMP2 Zytek
The British driver will share the car with Adrian Fernandez and Haruki Kurosawa, and the trio will race the brand new Zytek for the Barazi-Epsilon team.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for me and I'm obviously really looking forward to competing at Le Mans," said Kerr.
"I'm part of a great team and I'm lined up with a pair of brilliant teammates so I think we've got a good chance of going for the LMP2 win."
Kerr will drive the car for the first time at this weekend's official test at Le Mans, where he will experience the full circuit for the first time.
"Having only ever raced on the Le Mans Bugatti circuit, I'm looking forward to my first taste of the full-blown track on Sunday. I'm hoping to show well and make the most of this opportunity.
Kerr does have some previous experience of sportscar racing.
In 2004, the former British F3 champion raced an LMP1 Zytek in the Le Mans Endurance Series at Silverstone, where he qualified the car on pole position and eventually finished fourth with Chris Dyson.
