Winterbottom wins again in race 3
Mark Winterbottom completed a clean sweep with victory in race three of the Bigpond 400 at Barbagallo Raceway
Winterbottom led early and retook the lead when Ford Performance Racing teammate Steven Richards completed his compulsory pit stop, in a repeat of his race one performance, taking a comfortable win.
A few seconds back in second was Holden Racing Team's Garth Tander, with Jamie Whincup just behind him as he had been for most of the race, the same trio finishing in that order for the round overall.
Fourth was Craig Lowndes who made a rocket start to jump from fourth to second, but lost out to Tander and Whincup during the pitstops.
Fifth place for Will Davison finished off a strong weekend after a less than stellar qualifying performance, with Rick Kelly and Steven Richards right behind.
Tander's podium finishes in each race moves him into the championship lead, 14 points ahead of Rick Kelly, and just 24 points ahead of Mark Winterbottom.
After scoring no points in Hamilton and a disaster in qualifying at Barbagallo, Whincup recovered during the races and is within reach of Tander, 120 points behind the HRT driver.
