Brothers confirmed at Indonesia
Indonesia will be the first team in A1 GP to have two brothers in their driver line-up for the upcoming second season of the series
Regular driver Ananda Mikola will be joined by his younger brother Moreno Soeprapto, who is yet another rookie that will be able to take advantage of the extra practice sessions on Fridays that are new for this season.
Soeprapto said: "I had been following the progress of my brother in A1 GP and hoping that that I would have the chance, one day, to race for my country.
"I didn't expect the opportunity to come along so quickly, but this new initiative from A1GP is a great chance for me. It is an added bonus to be joining my brother in the team."
John Allen, Indonesia's Team Manager, said the new rookie scheme was especially beneficial to teams such as his.
"This is particularly helpful for teams such as Indonesia, where there are limited opportunities for young drivers to be exposed to this level of motorsport.
"Young drivers can aspire to join the team at an earlier stage of their career and I hope that this will encourage more young people into the sport."
