RSPORTS drivers target victories
RSPORTS drivers Alex Tagliani and Justin Wilson believe that the team are now in a position to fight for wins for the rest of the season
The pair have had a solid start to the season, but they both feel that victories are a realistic target now that they are building up some momentum.
Tagliani is currently just ahead of Wilson in fourth place in the standings, but the Canadian driver believes that there is more to come, starting with this weekend's race at Cleveland.
"We are happy to consistently stay fourth in the championship, but when we leave this event I would like to see us sitting in the top three," said Tagliani.
"I definitely think that we can win races and the championship, we just have to stay on top of our game and improve each time we are on track."
Wilson led during the early stages of the last race at Portland, and despite losing out to Sebastien Bourdais, the British driver feels that the team are now ready to fight for wins.
"If we can continue our positive momentum from our podium finish in Portland, then we can go out there striving for our first win of the season this weekend," he said.
