Jani returns after injury
Neel Jani will return to A1GP action this weekend in South Africa after missing the Australian round due to injury
The Red Bull-backed driver shut his hand in a car door while in America last month, where he had been testing ahead of his Champ Car debut with PKV Racing.
Sebastien Buemi stood in for Jani last time out at Eastern Creek, but the team's lead driver will be back in the cockpit for the Durban street race.
"The problem that I encountered with my hand and my fingers is resolved," said Jani, "and I am really ready and fit for the start of the weekend."
Jani raced in the event last year, but he missed out on a victory in the feature race due to brake problems.
"I have excellent memories of the track from last year," he added. "I took the lead of the feature race right at the start and looked set to win until a brake problem in the final laps.
"It meant I had to let Jos Verstappen through, and ironically it was awarded best overtaking manoeuvre of the year."
