With this morning's running now over, our on-track coverage takes a bit of a breather - returning with the start of the third round of the Blancpain Endurance Series, and taking in the second WTCC race from Porto, as well as updates from Pikes Peak and Munich X Games rallycross.
So now would be a good time to recap what happened yesterday, and this morning.
The big news was Valentino Rossi's return to top step of the MotoGP podium after a near-three year absence.
Late last night Freddy Loix wrapped up his record-extending eighth Ypres Rally win on his first European Rally Championship appearance of the season.
Prior to Lancaster and Venturini's wins today, there were British GP2 and GP3 successes courtesty of Sam Bird and Jack Harvey.
The NASCAR Sprint Cup Kentucky night race was postponed due to bad weather.

WTCC - Porto: Boardman and O'Young tangle and the former hits the wall. Coronel meanwhile fights past Basseng, who is hung out to dry as D'Aste and Monteiro follow the Dutchman through.

WTCC - Porto: Erm, we're not sure what to make of this. A safety vehicle was out on track, and was actually clouted by Franz Engstler as a huge pack of cars - Barth among them - came round Turn 12. Kozlovskiy only narrowly avoids contact, trying to squeeze between Barth and that safety vehicle.

WTCC - Porto: Fredy Barth spins exiting Turn 12, and is stopped across the track. With Tarquini metres down the road, the safety car has been called.

WTCC - Porto: Not so much a shunt than a blow-up - Tarquini's engine gives up. Or at least it is billowing out smoke - the Italian is determined to limp it round to the pits. His hold on fourth is over however.
Blancpain - Paul Ricard: The tragic news from the Lamborghini Super Trofeo support race is now online, as organisers pay tribute to Andrea Mame.

WTCC - Porto: Replays reveal Mehdi Bennani was taken out by Tom Boardman at Turn 6 on the opening lap, after the latter went way too deep on the inside.
Not much happening out front - its still Muller from Chilton, Nykjaer, Tarquini and Oriola. Top five within two seconds; Huff in sixth is a further 2s down the road.
