NASCAR - Kentucky: Earnhardt isn't letting Edwards escape too far, and now Johnson has finally succeeded in passing Hamlin after a long battle.
WTCC - Porto: Four laps to run and Huff has a very busy Nykjaer all over the rear of his SEAT. Muller meanwhile is sandwiched between Oriola and Coronel, while Chilton has fought back to ninth.
Pikes Peak: Sebastien Loeb's Peugeot is ready and waiting. Car section should be getting going in about half an hour and he runs first.
WTCC - Porto: Oriola does indeed cede ground, but in typical fashion Muller is right on Thompson's bumper, trying to follow the Briton through. Oriola does well to block the Frenchman out and retain sixth. Nykjaer meanwhile is now into third after passing Basseng, again at the final chicane.
WTCC - Porto: Overtaking is tough here, but not impossible - especially if you're in a Chevrolet. Nykjaer squeezes past Thompson for fourth at the final chicane. Oriola then lunges the Briton but cuts the chicane and will surely have to give the position back.
NASCAR - Kentucky: Carl Edwards swiftly took the lead from polesitter Dale Earnhardt Jr and is pulling out a clear advantage.
Jimmie Johnson lost a bit of ground at the flag but is now grappling with Denny Hamlin for third.

X Games - Munich: Brian Deegan wins heat four - comfortably clear of Tanner Foust and Timur Timerzyanov. Ominous form there.
WTCC - Porto: Oriola with a bit of a wild lunge on Chilton, who takes avoiding action but loses four spots in the process, dropping to 10th. Oriola now sixth, just ahead of race one winner Muller.

Blancpain - Paul Ricard: Maxime Martin crosses the line and wins for the Marc VDS Racing team in the BMW Z4.

WTCC - Porto: Onto the warm-up lap now, ahead of the customary race two standing start.
WTCC - Porto: Into the final 10 minutes of build up, so a quick grid update: Tom Boardman and Norbert Michelisz will not compete due to race one damage (and the fact cars are sealed on Monday to travel out to Argentina). Nash starts on pole from Basseng, Huff and Thompson.

WTCC - Porto: Incidentally, Porto established itself as one of our favourite venues during this gap between races. It may also have beautiful weather, great fans and genuine enthusiasm from those on high, but sometimes it's the simple things.

The race is scheduled for 267 laps, which means if more rain comes, it could be stopped after 134 laps and be declared a result, although earlier this season (remember Talladega?) NASCAR's preference was to push on till the race was done, however long the rain pause.

That event featured a great win for Ty Dillon, who defeated top Cup names Brad Keselowski and Kyle Busch, swiftly dismissing any chance of anyone scoring a Trucks/Nationwide/Cup triple this weekend.

WTCC - Porto: While we're feeling the heat here, we can't be nearly as tired as local favourite Tiago Monteiro, who seemed to spent the entirety of the last five hours being mobbed. In a race suit, and in 33 degree heat, he was somehow smiling throughout (he's in there somewhere, we promise).
Blancpain - Paul Ricard: That's a stop-go penalty for the Ferrari, as it happens. So their race has been seriously compromised.
WTCC - Porto: The pitlane is open and, after a lengthy break (quite the difference between the recent back-to-backs), we're 25 minutes away from the start of race two.

Blancpain - Paul Ricard: The #44 Kessel Ferrari has been removed from the lead battle after being smacked with a drive-through penalty. Big shame, that - though Martin is now second and catching Sims.
Blancpain - Paul Ricard: 25 minutes to go and big, big traffic for Sims to navigate. Zampieri is right on his tail but gets baulked himself and Sims hangs on.
Blancpain - Paul Ricard: This Sims/Zampieri fight is a fascinating one - the Brit's eked his lead out to almost a second. The Hexis team has worked hard to increase its competitiveness. After a problematic opener at Monza, it finished seventh at Silverstone - this is by a long way its most impressive performance, though.
X Games - Munich: Mattias Ekstrom wins the second heat. Sverre Isachsen pushed the two-time DTM champion hard, but fell short by 3.6s in the end.

NASCAR - Kentucky: Rain interfered with the Nationwide Series race on Friday night too.
Brad Keselowski took victory when the race was stopped with 30 laps to run as the weather turned.
He had overtaken Elliott Sadler for the lead shortly beforehand.
Nationwide debutant Matt Crafton took third as he stepped up from the Truck Series, which he currently leads.
Blancpain - Paul Ricard: Martin's fallen back in the BMW while Sims is under intense pressure for the lead from the Ferrari.
Loeb at Pikes Peak: We're currently still in the motorcycle section, but Sebastien Loeb and his monster Peugeot will be leading the cars away within the next hour, subject to the bikes running to time.
NASCAR - Kentucky: The weather forecast is less than sublime for this afternoon, but right now the track is dry. Green flag is due just after midday local time (4pm GMT, 5pm UK).

X Games - Munich: Toomas Heikkinen has won the first heat in Round 1, eight seconds clear of Steve Arpin. Anton Marklund retired on the third lap.

NASCAR - Kentucky: Less than an hour away from the second attempt at starting the Kentucky Speedway round of the NASCAR Sprint Cup series.

Blancpain - Paul Ricard: No it can't! The Hexis boys are very, very good at these pitstops today. Alexander Sims - a former McLaren AUTOSPORT BRDC Award winner, no less - is now at the wheel of the #7 McLaren and is 2s ahead of the #44 Ferrari now piloted by Daniele Zampieri. Maxime Martin in the Marc VDS BMW, though, is only slightly further back, and flying.

Blancpain - Paul Ricard: A word of praise for the #5 Boutsen Ginion McLaren. The Pro-Am car is running sixth, on merit, having just passed the #70 SMP Ferrari.
X Games - Munich: That's a rather tongue-in-cheek "not caking the car in mud". In rallycross, that's impossible to achieve. But it's a darn sight better than yesterday's rain.
