Blancpain - Paul Ricard: The statement continues: "Medical and safety teams were immediately on the scene to attend to the cars involved. All five drivers were taken to the medical centre for assessment.

Blancpain - Paul Ricard: We have a statement from the organisers, which reads: "It is with great sadness that Automobili Lamborghini confirmed that a fatal accident occurred to driver Andrea Mame in the first Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo race at Paul Ricard this morning.
"Immediately following the start of the first race at 0920hrs this morning, a serious first lap accident involving five competitors caused the race to be red-flagged."

Blancpain - Paul Ricard: A storming 2m06.913s late lap from Buurman in the #3 Beemer - including two session-best sector times - to pip Buhk by 0.044s.
Sims was third-fastest in session two, but his 2m07.468s lap was more than half a second behind Buurman, and 0.6s slower than Parente's best in the same car yesterday. Though it is good enough to be the third-fastest overall for qualifying so far.

Blancpain - Paul Ricard: Ludwig's best in the Mercedes was a 2m07.408s - slightly slower than that car managed in pre-qualifying and good enough for seventh fastest if the pace is the same as yesterday.

GP2 - Silverstone: Jon Lancaster scores his maiden series victory, a brilliantly-judged effort from the Hilmer Motorsport man - making it two British winners in GP2 this weekend. Haryanto is a lonely second, while Calado holds off Leal for the last spot on the podium. Bird finishes fifth, while team-mate Dillmann holds off the charging Nasr on the final lap.
Blancpain - Paul Ricard: The end of the first qualifying segment and this is the top three: #84 HTP Motorsport Mercedes ahead of the two Marc VD BMW Z4s - the #4 car (Palttala) leading the #3 (Leinders).
GP2 - Silverstone: Some passing moves in the points-paying positions late on: Bird passes team-mate Dillmann at Stowe for fifth; Nasr passes Ericsson at The Loop for seventh.

Blancpain - Paul Ricard: Finally, qualifying is underway! Just to let you know what happened in pre-qualifying - the Marc VDS Racing-prepared BMW Z4 of Bas Leinders, Yelmer Buurman and Maxime Martin was fastest of the 62-car field. Martin just outpaced an Alvaro Parente-led Hexis Racing McLaren.
Blancpain - Paul Ricard: We've had a delay for qualifying after a crash in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo support race. A couple of estimated start times have been and gone but we'll just let you know when it kicks off for real.
GP2 - Silverstone: Lancaster manages the restart perfectly, and holds a 1.3s lead. Great battle between Rosenzweig, Rossi and Nasr is resolved in Nasr's favour, who has charged from 25th to eighth. Utterly mega drive!
GP2 - Silverstone: Safety car as Daniel Abt spins at high speed on the exit of Farm. Lancaster had a 1.5s lead, which is now eradicated. Order is Lancaster, Haryanto, Calado, Leal, Dillmann, Ericsson and Bird. Yesterday's winner had a near-miss at Abbey on the opening lap as Palmer and Richelmi collided right in front of him.

WTCC - Porto: The aforementioned Coronel did not take part in morning warm-up - though that does not necessarily mean he'll skip the races.

GP2 - Silverstone: Amazing start from Jon Lancaster, who rockets from fourth to the lead! Haryanto is second, with Calado up to third from eighth. Palmer had contact and dropped way back to 15th after contact at Abbey.
GP2 - Silverstone: Five Brits in the top 10 of the sprint race. Can one of them follow-up Sam Bird's win yesterday and make it a home double?

GP2 - Silverstone: The sprint race is next on the British GP support bill this morning. There's a couple of 10-place grid penalties to be aware of: Fabio Leimer drops to P15 and Alexander Rossi to P20 after they caused collisions in yesterday's feature race. Leimer keeps his points, however, which consolidates fourth in the championship.

NASCAR - Kentucky: You may be wondering why we mentioned there will be NASCAR Sprint Cup updates today - it's because attempts to run the night race yesterday were abandoned an hour and a half after its scheduled start due to rain.
It's been put off to this afternoon - midday local time - and Dale Earnhardt Jr will start from pole.

Muller dominated qualifying so will start race one from pole - and you can see the rest of the grid right here. WTCC - Porto: Sunday's warm up is just three minutes away. Only 15 minutes these, but a chance for the drivers to stretch their legs ahead of today's two races - and, being a street circuit, a chance to give the mechanics some work to do should anything go wrong.

GP3 - Silverstone: A valiant effort from Yelloly falls short by 0.6 as Venturini holds on to win. Fontana is third, ahead of Kvyat, Regalia, Ellinas and yesterday's winner Harvey. Stalemate at the front, but a great race nevertheless.
GP3 - Silverstone: A great battle for supremacy up front between Venturini and Yelloly. We've seen evidence of Venturini struggling for grip at Luffield, but he's got track position - and that's king. Gap is 0.4s with 3 to go.
GP3 - Silverstone: With less than five laps to go, it's time to press the "go" button on tyre life. Conservation is out of the window, so who's got the most speed in their car in the closing stages?
GP3 - Silverstone: Yelloly told AUTOSPORT in Valencia that he'd learnt a new trick there: preserving his tyres and picking rivals off at the end of the race. Is that what's he's doing now? He's 0.6s behind Venturini on lap nine.
GP3 - Silverstone: We're in tyre preservation mode in this phase of the race, everyone is lapping at a very similar pace in the 1m50s bracket. Leader Venturini was the fastest of all on that last lap.
GP3 - Silverstone: Venturini continues to cling on at the front, but Yelloly is pushing him hard. If there's no safety car in this race it's going to be a big test for the new Pirelli super hard compound. Most of the field, if not all, are using tyres they qualified on for this race.

GP3 - Silverstone: Venturini leads, but Yelloly is all over him. Yelloly grabbed second off the start and got alongside Venturini at Village but ran wide on the kerbs. He's all over him like a cheap suit now on lap two.
