Senna happy with GP2 progress
Bruno Senna was pleased to be top rookie in yesterday's GP2 test after missing out on track time on Tuesday
The Brazilian was scheduled to test with reigning champions ART on the first day of the test, but the French squad didn't attend after the death of an engineer just a few days ago.
Senna drove for Arden on Wednesday though, and after a slow start he progressed to finish the day fourth fastest, after Giorgio Pantano's times were excluded because his Campos car was underweight.
"In the morning I was not so quick and the team were cautious listening to my feedback because I don't know the car," he said.
"But in the afternoon I told them what would make me quicker, and after they did it I was quick."
The British F3 runner understood why the experienced team were careful when listening to his feedback, but added that their relationship developed well over the course of the day.
"After I went quicker they started listening to me more," he said, "and they were happy too because they told me they've never really run well at Paul Ricard."
Senna will test with ART next week at Jerez, and also join up with fellow front-runners iSport.
