Perera fastest as Durango shine
Franck Perera set the fastest time on the second day of GP2 testing at Paul Ricard this week as Durango continued to show impressive pace
Luca Filippi, quickest for the team yesterday, continued his good form by setting the second fastest time of the day for Arden.
After finishing the 2006 season so well, Giorgio Pantano was third quickest for Campos Racing, while Javier Villa made sure the top four places were locked out by drivers from this season.
Bruno Senna was the top rookie on the second day with Arden, while his British F3 championship rival Mike Conway was 19th for DPR.
F3 Euro Series champion Paul di Resta was 14th quickest driving for Trident Racing, but the top Euro Series graduate was Kohei Hirate. The Japanese was driving for the same team, and set the seventh fastest time of the day.
The teams will now head to Jerez, where the next winter test will begin next week.
