Senna feels there is more work to do

Bruno Senna has admitted that there is still work to do if he wants to get back to the form he had at the start of the season

The Brazilian scored his first podium since July last weekend at Monza, but he doesn't feel that he and his Arden team are completely back on form yet.

"It's good to be back on the podium, but we have a lot of work to do to get the car competitive for Spa and Valencia," said Senna.

The 24-year-old won in only his third GP2 start at Barcelona this year, but a run of seven races without points dropped him down the championship table.

However, Senna was back in the points recently in Turkey, and at Monza he climbed through the field after qualifying 14th to score points in both races.

"We had a bit of a struggle at some of the races," he added. "Right now I'm very satisfied that we can be competitive again.

"But we need to step up a little bit a really get some research done for Spa and get the car right.

"We need to wait and see and for sure I will push hard to have a competitive car from the word go. If that is the case I will be back to being as competitive as I was at the beginning of the year."

Senna is currently seventh in the GP2 standings, although he is only two points adrift of Kazuki Nakajima in fifth.
