Conway not feeling extra pressure
Mike Conway doesn't believe there is any more pressure on him than there has been all season as he tries to wrap up the British F3 title this weekend
The Brit has moved into a commanding position in the championship in the last couple of months, and could win the title this weekend on the series' first visit to Mugello.
"There is definitely more pressure on me than the guys chasing me, but that's how it's been all season," Conway told autosport.com.
"It would be nice to win it here, and the easiest way to do that is to win the races from the front, because then it doesn't really matter what anyone else does."
But the Double R driver isn't about to panic if things don't go to plan in Italy this weekend, as he will still have two more chances to become the first Brit to win the title since 2002.
"If I'm in a battle and I think I can make a move stick I'll go for it," he said, "but it will depend on who I'm racing with and if I know they will be clean."
"If we have to go to the next round at Silverstone that will be ok, it will probably be harder for everyone else there because we'll be very fast."
Behind Conway, a thrilling three-way title battle is shaping up between his teammate Bruno Senna, and Carlin Motorsport's Oliver Jarvis and Maro Engel.
Engel, who took his maiden victory at Spa back in July, said: "It will be very close between us three, and it could all come down to who finds the best set up first, so working with our engineers will be very important."
