Conway makes it Silverstone double
Mike Conway continued his relentless march to the British F3 Championship with a hard-fought win in the second race at Silverstone today
But this race was dry and Conway had trouble with his tyres, so he had to resist stern pressure from Carlin Motorsport driver Christian Bakkerud.
The Dane even got alongside at one point but was reasonably happy to settle for second after a string of unhappy results of late.
Third was Oliver Jarvis, who came off best in an early battle for third with Bruno Senna. The two ran side by side through Stowe on the first lap and Senna ended up off-track.
The Brazilian was only able to recover to eighth as Jarvis enjoyed a comfortable run to the last podium spot.
Next up was an equally lonely Salvador Duran (Hitech Racing), followed by Carlin driver Maro Engel.
Rodolfo Gonzalez (T-Sport) took the National Class win after losing out to Martin Kudzak (Fluid Motorsport) in this morning's race.
