Di Grassi relaxed ahead of showdown
Lucas di Grassi has said that he feels relaxed ahead of this weekend's GP2 title-decider at Valencia
The Brazilian goes into the weekend just two points behind championship leader Timo Glock, and he has said that he feels comfortable with the championship situation.
"To be honest, I feel quite relaxed," said the 23-year-old. "I'm happy that I am in a position to fight for the title. If the crown felt more out of reach, I'd be nervous.
"I will approach this round like I did with all the ones before. To me, it's just another race. If I do my job properly, I'll have no regrets."
Glock said on several occasions that luck has played a big part in this year's championship, but di Grassi has said that he will not worry about any factors that are out of his control.
"The focus is to get the best out of yourself," he added. "I will concentrate on my own performance only, and not wait for Glock to make a mistake.
"We will have to stay focused all through the weekend, but the team and I are totally up for this challenge."
One thing that the ART driver is concerned about is the behaviour of the other drivers on track, as overtaking is difficult at Valencia.
"Traffic and race incidents will be a factor," he said. "Also, it's the last race so some drivers will push even harder to show off for next season."
