Sauber, Force India and Lotus have planned fresh talks for the Brazilian Grand Prix weekend in a bid to secure a financial boost from Formula 1's owners

In the wake of anger at F1's ignorance of the plight of the back of the grid outfits following Caterham and Marussia's collapse, the three teams have held talks with Bernie Ecclestone.

They are now putting together a financial proposal that they believe is needed to ensure all the current teams can survive.

Speaking about the situation at the Brazilian GP, Sauber team principal Monisha Kaltenborn said: "The dialogue is going on, and now we'll sit together here and see how it goes ahead.

"It was important to get into this dialogue, but it's equally important to have actions taking place, not just talking.

"We have put our views together, and that is what we are discussing now."

Kaltenborn said she was encouraged that F1's owners CVC had felt compelled to get involved in trying to help.

"The fact they are in a dialogue with us says they see the issue and they have to find a solution to this.

"I do think we did get that far last weekend, that the points we made have been acknowledged and this is what started the conversation."

When asked what timeframe a solution was needed by, she said: "We'll discuss that. We are still looking at it from a very positive aspect, now we are having these talks, exchanging ideas.

"So there is this dialogue there, but something definitely has to be done within this season.

"The signals are good, but one thing is talking, another thing is then taking actions. It has to be done very quickly."
