Jerez day 2: Schumacher top again
Michael Schumacher fired another ominous warning note about the pace of the new F2003-GA, outpacing both McLaren and Williams in a wet day of testing at the Jerez circuit in Spain today (Wednesday)
The world champion set a fastest lap 0.778s quicker than David Coulthard could manage in the revised McLaren MP4-17D that the British team will start the season with.
Kimi Raikkonen was third quickest in his McLaren, ahead of Toyota driver Olivier Panis, who continued to work on the new TF103.
However, Williams had another bad day of testing at the circuit. Juan Pablo Montoya, working on software and chassis set-up, found himself nearly four seconds off Schumacher's pace.

Felipe Massa carried out a shakedown test on the three Ferrari F2002 car's that the team will run in the opening race of the season at Melbourne. The Brazilian completed a total of 16 laps, with a best time of 57.581s.
