Ferrari not taking anything for granted

The events of the year take place at Indianapolis and Suzuka, both tracks on which Ferrari has been strong in the past. But Brawn says that the team isn't going into the races believing it is the favourite.

"We try not to think that way, because all we can do is work as hard as we can and concentrate as hard as we can for the next two weeks," said Brawn. "If we take anything for granted we're going to fall flat. We're just going to do the same things we've done for the last few weeks to put it together here.

"It has been very tough for the team, when you've had a season like we had last year, to face the difficulties we've had in the last four or five races. There's no such thing as luck, but a few things certainly didn't go for us."

Despite Schumacher's win, Juan Pablo Montoya is just three points behind in the drivers' championship, and Brawn is aware that anything could yet happen.

"With two races left one non-finish and it could be all over, so it's pretty fragile," he said. "But this win will give the boys such a boost. They were going to give everything anyway, but there'll be a bit of extra special push now I suspect."
