Barrichello Warns Massa of Tough Times
Brazilian Rubens Barrichello has warned compatriot Felipe Massa that life alongside Michael Schumacher will not be easy when he joins him at Ferrari next season
"He is going to have a tough time, but if I was in his position, young, eager to win, would have done the same," Barrichello told a press conference in Turkey.
World Champions Ferrari have signed Massa from Sauber as Barrichello's replacement alongside seven-times World Champion Schumacher.
Barrichello was a loyal number two at Ferrari, where Schumacher was the favoured son, but the Brazilian seemed to had become frustrated by his situation at the team during this season.
The nine-time Grand Prix winner, however, says Massa should be in a better position than he was when he joined Ferrari in 2000.
"The team is different to the one I came in to Ferrari in 2000," he added. "It is much more thinking on both drivers so I think Felipe will have an advantage to myself looking back to then.
"Speed is much better than words."
