Grapevine: Jaguar to Launch Ocean's 12 in Monaco

Having advertised Arnold Schwarzenegger's Terminator 3 movie on the livery of their car at last year's British Grand Prix, the Jaguar team continue their affair with Hollywood at the upcoming Monaco Grand Prix, where the team is set to launch the upcoming sequel Ocean's 12, along with key members of the movie's cast.

In a statement released by Jaguar, the team said imagery from the movie will form a central part of Jaguar Racing's presence at Monaco, with branding unique in its scale and scope appearing across the entire team, from team shirts, driver and mechanics overalls to the team's pitlane garage, as well as the cars themselves.

Jerry Weintraub, Producer of Ocean's 12, said; "The Monaco Grand Prix is the highlight of the global racing calendar and Ocean's 12 will be one of the most exhilarating, thrilling and stylish films of the year.  This partnership reflects how Formula One is the perfect audience for us and Jaguar Racing the preferred partner.  The cast can't wait to see their names hurtling round the streets of Monaco at more than 250 km/h."

The movie - a sequel to the blockbuster Ocean's 11, starring George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Catherine Zeta Jones, Andy Garcia, Don Cheadle, Bernie Mac and Julia Roberts.- features several car chase scenes that include Jaguars, Land Rover and Aston Martins.

"Ocean's 12 oozes style, sophistication and luxury - qualities integral with the cars in the movie," commented Joe Greenwell, Chairman and CEO of Jaguar and Land Rover. "We're bringing together Hollywood's biggest movie of the year, the biggest race in the F1 calendar and some of our most desirable cars - it's an incredibly exciting mix."
