DC wants back to back British GP wins
David Coulthard believes he can repeat his 1999 British Grand Prix win and stop Michael Schumacher's charge in the process
"It would be a great feeling to win the British Grand Prix twice in a row. To get my first win of the season, and to get it at Silverstone, would be just the business," said Coulthard.
The Scot won last year's event after Schumacher had eliminated himself in a leg-breaking shunt in the first start, and his team mate Mika Hakkinen had retired when a wheel fell off.
Nevertheless, Coulthard maintains that each win is as valid as the next, despite his fortuitous path to victory.
"I've always maintained that to get a proper race victory you have to beat all your main rivals.
"I definitely grade my victories by who is second and third on the podium. I haven't had many lucky wins, but Silverstone was definitely one of them.
"I've only got four points so far and am a long way behind Michael. But the wins are still there to play for, so I'll concentrate on trying to be as quick as I can this weekend."
