Frentzen looks to reclaim third spot

Heinz-Harald Frentzen will be hoping a good performance will enable him to reclaim third position in the drivers' championship

He currently trails Scot David Coulthard 46-40, with just four races [including Monza] left in the season.

The German driver finished third in Belgium - his fifth podium of the season - and is expecting his Jordan to pose more of a threat to McLaren at this weekend's race.

'I believe Jordan can be very strong in Monza,' he said.

'In Spa we were not able to keep up with McLaren, but I hope to be able to fight more with them in Italy.'

The French GP winner is looking forward to tackling the famous Italian circuit.

He added, 'I really enjoy racing in Monza as it is the fastest circuit of the calendar, despite the chicanes, and is therefore very exciting to drive at.

'Handling the car through the fast corners is a big challenge.

'A good grid position is important because overtaking is surprisingly hard, and I feel we can fight for the front row of the grid in qualifying.'
