Grapevine: Berger rubbishes Vettel's Ferrari link

Toro Rosso co-owner Gerhard Berger has rubbished rumours linking Sebastian Vettel with a Ferrari drive next season

The German driver has impressed with his performances with the Italian squad and there were reports this week that he could be in line for a Ferrari drive in 2009, replacing Felipe Massa.

Berger, however, has made it clear that Vettel will be part of the Red Bull family at least for another three years.

"Vettel has a three-year contract with Red Bull and he will be the next three years with Red Bull," Berger said in Malaysia. "It is not any more with BMW at all, he is 100 percent Red Bull."

Massa, who partners world champion Kimi Raikkonen at Ferrari, also rubbished the reports.

"I have a three-year contract so I am very comfortable inside the team, everyone is happy inside the team.

"For sure last race was not a very fantastic weekend for everybody inside the team for the drivers and the team, reliability, but it is not because of one result that is going to change everything in the team.

"Everybody is happy with the drivers and the team, I have a three-year contract if you don't remember."
