Honda's new head of aerodynamics Loic Bigois says he has been impressed by the Japanese squad's resources.
The Frenchman has just joined Honda from Williams, as the Brackley-based outfit continue to bolster their technical department in the hope to bounce back from a dismal 2007 season.
"It's a massive place but I'm very pleased with what I've seen," Bigois said. "The resources here are incredible.
"I was surprised when I moved from Minardi to Williams in 2004, but from Williams to Honda is probably even more of an impressive step. There are plenty of very skilled people here."
Bigois admitted he is pushing as hard as possible to make all the necessary changes to make sure Honda are competitive in 2008.
"We have to sort it out quickly," he added. "I need to look at both re-organising the department to make it more efficient while also concentrating on the development of the 2008 car.
"But I hate change for change's sake so I will look very closely, and what isn't working, and understand it fully before I start to introduce change.
"I'm pushing really hard to make sure the 2008 car is ambitious while still being competent. I will use all my past experience to help the team working really hard on the organisation of the department and making best work for 2008.
"It's easy to lose focus in a big team your number one priority is only to make the car faster and we need to concentrate on doing just that."
