Barrichello: Ferrari to Win Very Soon
World Champions Ferrari will be very strong from now on after returning to the podium at the European Grand Prix, according to Rubens Barrichello
The Brazilian driver scored Ferrari's third podium of the season, and his first since the season-opening race in Australia.
Barrichello finished in third place today, behind race winner Fernando Alonso and Williams' Nick Heidfeld.
Ferrari have now gone eight races without a win, their longest drought since Michael Schumacher joined them in 1996.
Barrichello, however, is predicting Ferrari will start winning races "very soon".
"The boys here and at the factory are doing a fantastic job. The car is very reliable, the engine is good and the tyres are fantastic," said Barrichello after the race.
"We are coming back and I feel the Ferrari team will be very strong from now to the end of the year and we will be winning races hopefully very soon."
Ferrari's seven-times World Champion Schumacher could only finish fifth after losing a lot of time at the start of the race, when he had to take avoiding action because of a crash.
