Schumacher Impressed by Toyota

After the Japanese car manufacturer suffered a slump in pace at the San Marino Grand Prix, some had believed that Toyota's best was behind them with Jarno Trulli having grabbed two podiums in the first three races of the year.

But after Trulli delivered the team's best ever qualifying performance with provisional pole position in Barcelona on Saturday, even Schumacher has admitted that he is surprised how well things are going for them.

Responding to questions about whether he is worried about getting stuck behind the Toyotas in Sunday's race, Schumacher said: "Honestly, if you look at the pace of the Toyota they have been quite quick so we have to think they will not be blocking anybody - but they are going for the victory.

"I was a bit surprised if I look at the performance in the last race. Honestly I did not think they were that strong coming here but obviously they have worked very well."
