Pizzonia slams Jaguar again

The Brazilian was signed by Jaguar as a race driver alongside Mark Webber last year, but after a difficult start to the season, rumours of his imminent replacement started after just four races. He eventually survived for 11 events before being replaced by Justin Wilson at Hockenheim a year ago.

"The treatment (at Williams) is totally different," he said. "The way they (Jaguar) used to treat me was like shit, to be honest. Here it's a different world. I feel respected, not only as a racing driver but as a human being."

Pizzonia has again claimed that he did not receive equal treatment.

"I found out things that I didn't have on the car which the other driver did and we just didn't have the same treatment," he explained. "Jaguar didn't have a lot of money and it's a lot easier to develop one car than two at the same time. I used to get parts one or two races later. Some of them I knew about, but most of them I didn't."

Pizzonia added that he feels Christian Klien is currently going through a similar situation. But both Webber and Jaguar chief David Pitchforth rubbished the 23-year-old's claims. Pitchforth labelled them "utter nonsense," while Webber added: "I'll swear on my mother's life that we had the same treatment."

Pizzonia is much more excited about his prospects with Williams this weekend. "I'm feeling relaxed and confident," he said. "I know the car, the team and I've done a lot of mileage."
