First pictures: Renault rolls up for test

The French car manufacturer was the last team to arrive in Barcelona on Sunday afternoon, ahead of the resumption of Formula 1 testing on Monday, and the company's yellow and white corporate colours were predominant.

As Autosport.com's exclusive photographs show, the team's yellow and white trucks featured a minimalist design, while the car that will be tested, a modified version of last year's Benetton-Renault, will also be yellow and white.

Although the team tried to keep the new colours under wraps as the car was unloaded late on Sunday afternoon, the interim machine's livery is predominantly yellow with a white strip running down the centre.

It is thought that the team's final colour scheme for 2002 will include the light blue colours of title sponsor Mild Seven. Sources have suggested that this will mainly focus around the rear of the car.

McLaren, Williams, Jaguar and British American Racing are expected to kick testing off on Monday, with Renault, Toyota, Ferrari, Sauber and Jordan joining them later in the week.

BAR will have one version of its new BAR004, which must impress Jacques Villeneuve if the team is to have any hope of convincing the 1997 world champion to stay long term, while Jaguar will also have one of its new Jaguar R3s, launched on Friday.

Ferrari's new test driver Luciano Burti is expected to make a return to the Formula 1 cockpit on Tuesday for the first time since his horrific crash in last year's Belgian Grand Prix.
