Trulli sets his sights on first win

Jarno Trulli has set his sights on victory after qualifying on the front row for the Belgian Grand Prix

The Italian said he had even surprised himself by dislodging perennial front row contenders Michael Schumacher and David Coulthard.

The Jordan ace matched his career best grid position at Monaco in June, where he raced at the head of the field until his gearbox broke on lap 36.

"I must admit I expected to be near the front because the car has gone really well all the weekend," he said. "But I was thinking I could be in the top five. Second is really good. It's as good as my Monaco qualifying performance - hopefully the result will be even better.

"I have to say I had yellow flags on my fastest run and my lap time could have been quicker, but it would have been difficult to have beaten Mika.

"I've lost too many podiums this year and had too much bad luck and I must get it back sometime," he added. "Hopefully it will be here."
