Hamilton's now on the back of Norris - and dispatches his countryman at Copse! Red Bull will be asking why he couldn't do it that cleanly earlier...
Pit stop
Tsunoda is the final driver to pit in the first stint at the end of lap 31. He comes out in P13 ahead of Russell and now all drivers are on hards except Perez on the mediums.
Pit stop
No such issues for Leclerc, who has a better time of it than his team-mate and returns to the lead.
That stop has brought Sainz out in sixth place, but Leclerc now comes in from the lead!
Pit stop
Gasly pits on lap 29 after going long in this stint and comes back out in P12 behind Ocon but ahead of Raikkonen.
Sainz duly comes in for a stop, collecting hard tyres. It's slow on the front-left, but the Ferrari driver gets going eventually!
Pit stop
Hamilton now calls in for his stop, and serves his 10-second penalty. He rejoins the circuit in fifth, behind Norris, which temporarily leaves us with a Ferrari 1-2.
Bottas sets a 1m31.415s to build a break over Norris now, as the two look to catch up to the front duo.
Pit stop
Alonso, who does pit on lap 25, comes back out straight into a battle with Stroll and gets ahead of him on the run to Brooklands. That puts the Alpine driver up to P9 with both Gasly and Tsunoda yet to pit ahead.
Alonso now pits from sixth, with a marginally slow stop for hard tyres - he lost about three seconds there.
Norris clears Alonso for fifth now, doing the move at Vale as Alonso was very slow at Stowe.
Pit stop
Stroll pits from P7 to take a fresh set of hards, leaving Alonso and Gasly as the midfield runners who are going long in this first stint.
It was close between Norris and Bottas, however, but Bottas gives himself breathing space by clearing Alonso - who's yet to stop.
Pit stop
Mercedes now responds to that slow stop to pull Bottas in, which brings him out ahead of the McLaren.
Pit stop
Norris now pits from third, taking on hard tyres - but it's a slightly slow stop! That's cost him about four seconds there.
Pit stop
Ricciardo pits from fifth, putting his battle with Sainz on ice for the time being. He takes on the hard tyre.
Perez goes side-by-side with Raikkonen at Abbey but the Finn defends strongly. It doesn’t last for long as down the Wellington Straight Perez powers ahead with the aid of DRS.
Raikkonen, Russell and Vettel all went for the mediums in their stops while Perez, having started on hards, goes for the mediums.
Stopwatch
Leclerc now logs a 1m31.985s to open the lead up again.
Pit stop
Pitstop time - Raikkonen, Perez, Russell and Vettel all in at the end of lap 18.
Stopwatch
It's a 1m32.291s for Hamilton on the previous lap, but Leclerc seems to have weathered the storm - for now, at least.
Gasly has been shown the black and white warning flag for exceeding track limits. He's been guilty of it at Copse so he'll have to be careful now while defending from Perez.
It's a problem with the engine for Leclerc - so Ferrari's trying to give him the tools to fix it. With Hamilton now employing DRS, Leclerc's going to be sweating a little bit more.
Leclerc had some kind of issue, and gets instruction from the pitwall to change settings to alleviate that. Hamilton's closing up now.
Stopwatch
The fastest time so far now belongs to Bottas, who posts a 1m32.694s to begin putting Norris under pressure.
Perez's progress is being stalled as he is at the rear of a three-car DRS train. Raikkonen in 10th place is holding up Gasly who is doing the same to Perez.
A lot has happened in this race so far but we haven’t mentioned Stroll’s progress. The Aston Martin driver is up to eighth place having gained six spots so far. He’s also on the edge of DRS range to Alonso ahead of him.
"Plan B or Plan C for now," Sainz is being told - while Leclerc gets the "Plan B" treatment.
Leclerc's just keeping Hamilton at an arm's length at the moment, with enough to deny the Mercedes driver a hit of DRS.
We mention Perez being in the hunt because remember how he won his first F1 race last year? Don't rule it out just yet.
Perez powers past Giovinazzi on the run to Brooklands to move up to 12th place. He could be a disruptor later in this race having started on the hards, but he still has a lot of racing left to do.
Quote
"Still same strategy?" Hamilton asks. He gets the a-firm from Bono, so that's likely a one-stop.
The sole Red Bull left in this race, Perez, is making his way up the order nicely as he moves ahead of Russell at Stowe to take 13th place.
Quote
"Probably need to push on now, situation has changed with the 10-second penalty," Hamilton is told. He cut 0.3s off Leclerc's lead at the end of the seventh lap.
Raikkonen has a huge snap from his Alfa Romeo into Abbey and runs off track but is able to return still in 10th place.
Leclerc's built a 1.6s lead over Hamilton at the front, with Norris opening his advantage over Bottas now.
Sainz powers around Alonso to claim sixth, and he'll now go after Ricciardo in fifth.
Vettel returns to the race in P19 at the back of the pack - huge disappointment having made a super start to this race.
Penalty
Hamilton gets a 10-second penalty for that crash with Verstappen.
