Shedden stays with Dynamics

Team Dynamics has retained Gordon Shedden for this season's British Touring Car Championship

The 30-year-old Scot will spend a fourth straight season with the former champion team and will partner Dave Pinkney in the squad's pair of Honda Civics.

Team boss Steve Neal told autosport.com: "It's great to have Gordon back on board. He's really come on a lot since last year, upped his game significantly. He's been really a huge help in trying to get Dave up to speed over the last month or so, and I think we'll be in for a good season."

Shedden, who won twice for Dynamics last season, is delighted to have confirmed his plans, and is looking forward to improving on his seventh place in the 2008 standings.

"It's all taken quite a bit of piecing together, but we're there now and I'm raring to go for the season," Shedden told autosport.com.

"We definitely seem to have unleashed a bit more speed from the car over the winter, and I'm confident we can hit the ground running."

Shedden will have a new race engineer this season, Stuart Beaton having taken over on his car.
